Sophie Davies, whose sister Charlotte has a Low Grade Glioma, raised £764.77 in November by selling print copies of an artist impression of the her prep shcool, made by her Art Teacher, Mr Simon Mellor. Sophie has also previously donated money that she raised from the sale of her shcool hoodies, which she designed and had maufactured.

Susannah Lees-Low takes the plunge!
Susannah has raised £8,000 on her recent parachute jump in memory of her friend Penny. Before Penny became ill they had both talked about organising a parachute jump, but there was not enough time. Susannah decided to go ahead, and used the opportunity to raise much needed funds for research in her friend's memory, and had some fun in the process.
I'm sure Penny was up there with you Sue!
If you would like to make a donation towards Sue's target of £10,000 send a cheque to SDBTT and write on the back "Sue's parachute jump".
CHARITY SUMMER BALL
Ingrid and Bruce Murdoch held a Summer Ball in the Riverslea Suite in Forres on Saturday 9th August to raise funds for SDBTT in memory of their daughter Kirsty, who died of a brain tumour in 2005 at the age of 18.
Ingrid and Bruce have raised much needed funds for research in memory of Kirsty, and this latest event raised a fantastic £944.60. Music was provided by the local rock band "Kato Star", and a disco by 2MS and piper Grant Gammie. Ingrid and Bruce thank all the people who helped to organise the event, and all those who kindly contributed to the various prizes.
HARTLEY WINTNEY SUMMER BALL
Sue Moore, a valued volunteer for SDBTT, and Trustee Ian Andrew held a Summer Ball at The Victoria Hall, Hartley Wintney, raising an impressive £5,000 for the charity. This is the second Ball Sue has organised, in memory of her husband and Ian's wife, both of whom died from a brain tumour. Music was providedby The Mark Tait Band, and thanks to donations and prizes, an auction and raffle helped boost the final total.
